Hello my name is Celeste I am a 26 year old experience Cna I have been caring for others for over 8 years,including home health as well as assisted livings,rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.I love what I do it makes me happy to know I can improve someone's quality of life by doing something I enjoy helping in all aspects. My passion for health care started when I was caring for my great grandfather who suffered a stroke and following amputation of his left leg I knew this was the field for me .I have my own transportation I can cook,clean,run errands,help with medication,and all areas of activities of daily living I have an excellent bed side manner and look foward to hearing from you

I became a caregiver having worked with various patients in Uganda and saw that I would be able to make a difference in some one's life and contribute to their daily living needs in a positive way. I was able to counsel and positively enhance people's lives especially those with HIV. Some of them had lost hope but with the counselling sessions, the discordant couples regained trust in each other and their home interface improved. I 45 years and a Ugandan citizen who migrated to the US in March 2014. I worked for the Medical Research Council in Uganda for 14 years. We worked with HIV/AIDS patients and we carried out various tasks to include; taking surveys, vitals, counselling, home visits & care as well as reviewing the patients condition every 6 months. During my stay with MRC, I learned a lot about HIV/AIDS and its challenges. It was an honor that people entrusted me with their health problems and allowed me to be part of their lives as they faced the HIV/AIDS journey at times with adverse results say, death.

I have always loved to work with helping people I have been a care giver to my mom and grandmother for over 4 years without pay I have helped change clothing prep meals helped with meds my mom and grandmother are lupus patients I enjoy making their day

I am a great caregiver because I have been taking care of the elderly and disabled for the past 20 years. I enjoy helping others help themselves. This line of work is very rewarding.

I became a caregiver, because it brings so much joy out of helping another person. I like being a caregiver because, you know you are making a difference in someones life. A personal achievement I'm proud of is always doing my best in my studies and whatever I put my mind to. I am a well educated, kind person, that always thinks of others ahead of myself.

I have always had the passionate to care for others so thats why I decided to become a caregiver. I love knowing I can make a positive impact on others lives. I know how hard it must be to see a family member no longer doing things for themselves. I enjoy providing companionship to every client as well as assisting them with their activities of daily living.

I am currently enrolled in the Nursing Assistant program at Milan Institute. I am CPR/First Aide Certified. I enrolled in the program cause I love and enjoy taking care of others and helping them to get back to their normal daily activities. I feel that if you are going to care for a sick or injured person you need to love what you do and have compassion for your job.

BECAUSE I THINK I COULD BE AN ASSET TO ANY TEAM TAKING CARE OF OUR ELDERLY I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 30PLUS YEARS. I LIKE THAT I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONES DAY , I MADE IT THRU CANCER AND NEVER MISSED A DAY OF WORK WHILE GOING THRU IT. IM A PEOPLE PERSON , I ENJOY WORKING WITH THE ELDERLY AND IVE BEEN A SINGLE MOM TO 2 KIDS THRU ALL THIS I RAN MY FIRST 5 K LAST YEAR AND IM STILL TRYING TO GET READY TO RUN ANOTHER ONE AND I WENT BACK TO SCHOOL AT 50 AND BECAME AN MA WITH A GPA OF 4.75 AND WAS ON THE DEANS LIST THE WHOLE TIME AND LEARN ALOT ABOUT THE MEDICAL FIELD I ALSO SPECIALIZE IN DEMENTIA CARE .

I became a caregiver because my father had lou gehrig's disease and I helped my mom take care of him and when he went into the nursing home I got to experienced how the cna performed there job so I went to study for medical assistant and also cna I fell in love with this job. In the beginning I wanted this position to help people but I noticed that it's not just help but to make them feel safe and comfortable just like if they were at home and with there family everyone deserves to feel satisfied and helpless.im proud to learn and grow with this career in the future I want to become an RN that is my goal. Something about myself I love to have fun and talk alot. Also I'm very caring, loving, genuine, I never give up, also I challenge myself so I can get better.

I became a caregiver because my mom was a caregiver and I admired her for being able to build such a great relationship with the people she cared for and I was always so proud of my mom for doing it. I love the relationships you form with the people you are caring for you and I love that I feel great about myself when I go home from a long day of work. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that I was able to push myself thru full time schooling to get my MA degree along with holding a full time job and being able to take care of my 3 children at home.

I actually don't have any experience as a caregiver but I have been a medical assistant at a cardiovascular clinic. I really enjoyed that job and the people who I worked with and all the patients. I am willing to learn how to become a caregiver. I really want to be part of this team.
