My first healthcare experience was being an intern at Baptist Hospital for, then I followed with The Brooks of Cibolo as a caregiver/ medication aid. My current job is at Bella Groves as a caregiver/ medication aid. I'm very positive and outgoing, I love making people smile! I cared for my mother and aunt while their end stage life with lung cancer and aunt with breast cancer and schizophrenia. I have 2 autistic sons and have cared for them and received care while in their youth. I have experience in caring for the elderly, hospice patients, dementia. I enjoy caring for patients, and making their day better as their days are limited. When hearing their stories of their growing up or experiencing one appreciates their life experiences and history.

I am a people person . I love talking and caring for the elderly . I've always have treated my patients and clients as I would like to be cared for when I'm elderly . I personally took care of my mom and dad whom have passed . My mom had dementia and later a severe stroke . I cared for her for 7 years , she passed in Jan 2017 . My dad had cancer, saw him through treatments for 8 years . He was diagnosed with stage 4 onset of his diagnosis. I later moved in with them , then my dad was out in hospices ,he only lived for 2 weeks more , he passed in 2008 . I stayed living with my mom for 8 months after my dad passed , then later I brought her to live with me after her stroke in 2010. I now live Chandler, Arizona since Dec 2017 , to be here to see my younger grandchildren grow up. It was a true blessing to be able to care for both of my parents. And now to be with my grandchildren .. God has truly blessed me . As I said, I love caring for the elderly , it's something that gives me my purpose in life ,

I know how to deal with all types of people, especially elderly and children and am very patient. I currently am a caregiver to my father. I assist him in bathing, changing clothes, washing clothes and sheets and changing sheets on his bed; make dinner, clean house, take him to Drs appts and assist him in moving around the house, when needed.

Hi, I'm Becca :) I am 28 yr old, nursing student. No kids not married. Workaholic! I have been in health care for 10 years. I have done home health, hospital, and assisted living and travel nursing. I have worked neonates to geriatric. I've gained knowledge on different medical techniques, diagnoses, and how each patient acquires care differently. I am a people person, honest is the best policy. I have a heart for others, take care of them as you would as if your own family. Enjoy most is that I get to help the client and the family and show my appreciation and care for their family member. Personal achievement is that I am finally in nursing school and I am content with my life and how hard I have worked to be here. I have no family in Texas. I do have a puppy named Moxi! My very first pet on my own. It's been rough at times but honestly friends and family make life better it showed me support teams are everything. That is important to me, With all that being said, I'll probably be the caregiver that will be playing music, playing chess with your loved one ! I do talk a lot, if its to much tell me, I ensure my clients are taken care of, all tasks on hand are completed before the shift is over. The reason why I wanted to become a caregiver is because my grandmother was on dialysis and had many different medical issues and I assisted with her daily needs. Hi there, I'm Angela and I have 7 years Home Care Provider experience so far. In that time my clients ranged from family to non relatives, elderly and disabled. When I was 14 my mother became disabled but long before that I was always her little helper. My first client was my grandmother, a type 2 diabetic with early stages of Dementia. Soon I was caring for my grandmother, mother and two daughters of my own. Over all I enjoy being helpful and compassionate. In 2007 I helped my Mother take care of my Father who had prostate cancer. During that time Hospice took over and I continued to help my Mother and sadly my Father passed in 2008. In 2017 after Hurricane Harvey hit Rockport, TX. I temporarily moved back to San Antonio. It was during my stay that my Mother's Dr., stated to me my Mother could no longer live by herself. And without hesitation I became my Mother's 24/7 Care Provider. And sadly she passed in 2018. I have a strong desire to care for those who need caring, whether by Companionship or as their Care Provider. I enjoy listening to their stories; cooking and most importantly seeing them smile and laugh. My personal achievement is that upon my decision to make my move back to San Antonio, I asked God what He wanted me to do? In His small quiet voice, He put it in my heart for me to go move home and take care of my Mother. And that is exactly what I did.
