In short, I chose to work as a caregiver because it has always been a dream of mine and since caring for people comes naturally to me and what more can you ask for professionally than to do something you love. *What make me happy about being a caregiver is the ability to make my client feel cared for. *I am personally proud of the friends I have made so far. I am happy to know that there is someone I out there that I have succeeded in touching their life one way or the other.

Hello, My name is Jalissa, I'm a passionate woman who loves to help others!

Since I was a little girl I've felt I had a calling to care for others and help them feel better. It's been a life long passion to pursue my education in Nursing. I have a heart of gold, and am extremely compassionate, and empathetic. I do my absolute best to treat others as I would like to be treated. To care for anothers as if it were me, with kindness, respect, and understanding. Seeing a smile on someone's face absolutely fills my heart with joy. I've babysat since I was 10 years of age. I volunteered at a local hospital during High School in the Obstetrics Department, and Operating Room. I also went to Nursing Camp at Houston Baptist University. I stood in on 3 different surgeries, one of which I later had myself. I was a Girl Scout until 21 years of age, and a Camp Counselor and Nurse during the summer after my senior year of High School. I then went on the become a CNA, a Phlebotomist, and Medical Assistant. I plan to further my education in Nursing. I look forward to providing the best care possible to every client I cross paths with professionally in the future.

My personality traits as a caregiver,, i am a very happy lady, gets a long with anybody, any mood swings with family. Or clients i get along very well, i love caring. I am neat, pantual with my time. I love cooking all American food without a problem, etc,i was atracted by being a care by, this started when my mum got sick. I turned to be a caregiver through her instrcting me what to do to her. Until 5 years taking care of her she passsed away. This multivated me. And i. felt i need to be a caregiver. Also my elder brother was diagonised with cancer, he was not married and had no children. I moved ato stay with him. Thinking he would be better. This brought a bittter divorce from my husband for caring to my brother until he also passed away. This brought awaking call to my life. I was rewarded with a green card, i came to America 17 years a go. I had been a caregive and this makes me fill and love taki g care og those in needed situations. I love the job.my personal achievement with caregiving, is that having gone through bitter divorce. I am happy my kids are happy i have given them better eduction. I am able to feed and clothe the. Caregiving has made me who i am today. And i am happy with the job.

I think personally I would be a great caregiver because I'm very kind hearted. I just want to help be able to make people feel less stress. What attracted me to be one is my grandmother is 92 and in great health and all she needed was a little help. I also know she's lonely because we live so far from her. So I want to be able to give someone a little help and company. I enjoy it mostly because people are human and humans love having company. It also feels good to help those who need help, I'm full of positive energy and I'm also good with listening and communicating.

I became a caregiver to help people that can't help themselves I enjoy what I do I'm loving caring and I have a lot of patience I've been doing this for over six years and I couldn't see myself doing anything else

I'm a mother of 2 sons. Grandmother of 2! I had a very special relationship with my grandmother, and I think that is why I enjoy the elderly so much. I enjoy learning from my elders I have nearly 2 years of nursing training, and I have experience working in a nursing home. I've also worked with an autistic young man. We have learned from each other.

I'm very compassionate, loving, kind hearted,dependable, and trustworthy. I empathize with the needs of my patients and identify there needs quickly. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy taking care of people who need a little helping hand. I want to help others. It's a very rewarding job.

I think I'm a great caregiver because I genuinely care about others. I treat people the way I want myself or my family members treated. I have enjoyed a 32 year career as a Respiratory Therapist primarily with children in a hospital setting, but being a caregiver doesn't have age restrictions! I am now an active empty nester and am looking to continue caring for others outside of the hospital setting in a little more flexible way. :)

I am passionate about caring for individuals who are needy, sick and disabled. I love my job as a caregiver. Providing support and saving lives is my ultimate goal. My greatest achievement is saving lives and keeping my patients clean and healthy. Personally, hygiene is always a key. For example I was taking care of a disabled female who was bed bounded. I assisted her with overall personal care, feeding, light housekeeping, re-positioned her every two hours and performed all activities of daily living. I prepared her daily meals, reminded her to take her medication and ensured safety and cleanliness in her home. I love my job as a caregiver. I am a certified licensed nurse assistant and a bachelors degree in public health. I have a driver license in case there is a need for transportation for the client.

I became a Certified Nurse Aide in 2004, I cared for a lot of my family members. I enjoy care for others from children to adults. I'm also a Certified Medication Aide, I have my Pharmacy Tech Trainee License and CPR certified. I'm also currently working as a Cna.

I am a patient, calm person and I like people. I was a volunteer, (Henry Ford Hospice 3 years). Personal caregiver for my mother (1 year), volunteer with Lighthouse Hospice, Employee at Lighthouse Hospice (3 years). I enjoy helping clients be their most productive selves with dignity. I was volunteer of the year at Henry Ford Hospice and under my supervision, increased the number of volunteers and community organizations involved in our program.

I am a very caring person who has lost all my five siblings and parents. I had caregivers help my family parents as they grew old and appreciated them. For many years as a senior secretary, I spared time to work with seniors during weekends. I love giving back.

I am a very positive person. You can ask anyone of my previous employers they will agree. I also love history, and love to her the older generation talk about their lives. It allows me to get educated on history while building a friendship with the older generation. I enjoy helping people. My personal achievement that I can say I am very proud of, is I have left a huge positive impression on my ex coworkers and students. I have been contacted by many of them stating that I would always make their day with my positive attitude and look on life in general. I love to make people feel happy. I am very proud of my attitude on life.

Was licensed as a cna but did keep it up. Been a caregiver off and on for over 13 yes. Love Carrington for the elderly. They are some of the most honest people I know. I help care for my grandmother so I know how it is to care for loved ones.

I am a great caregiver! I am able to assess patients needs quickly. I think making someone feel their best is what we joined the medical field for! I have 4 siblings and help care for both of my elderly parents with cares, medical appts, bills and things like this. I cook and help clean when they need.
