I have been in healthcare for 14 years I have specialized in home health for the past 10 years my last client I was with her for over 6 years she was a cancer survivor and I was with her throughout her radiation and chemo treatments and helped her get through her cancer when she became very ill in her last stage of life I was with her then as wells when hospice was brought in so I specialize in hospice care as well as she is not my first patient on hospice care.

Being a caregiver is not an easy task, no matter the needs or level of dependence of the individual receiving care. While taking care of one's own personal needs is more or less automatic most of the time, switching gears and caring for someone else is not. Putting someone else's needs before yours isn't always easy or fun, but coupled with the knowledge that you made someone's life easier and better, can be incredibly rewarding.

I'm very patient and compassionate. I'm also trustworthy and dependable. I love caring and bonding with the elderly. Just hearing their lifetime stories gives me the opportunity to build a connection and develop a companionship.

I am 27 a mother of 3. I initially wanted to become a caregiver after my mom had a massive stroke. I started caring for her and 2 other clients after that. I was CNA certified at age 18. I take pride in my work. I make sure to stay organized and make sure that my clients are kept safe and in a neat environment. I was a Head cook at Denny's Restaurant for 3 years I have a food handlers certificate and I can safely prepare meals. I am experienced with diabetic patients, Alzheimer, and stroke victims

Did home health care love working with the elderly I got my cna in 2008 I went back to doing warehouse work but I miss my clients so I went back to home health and working at nursing home
