Hi, I currently provide independent living skills, dementia care, hospice care, nanny, housekeeping, companion care, transportation, senior and home health care services. I have been providing senior care since 2000. My education includes being a current LPN, Bachelors in Social Work, addiction counselor for 5 years and Masters in Human Services. I look forward to speaking with you regarding my qualifications. I am a very patient individual and believe that communication is the key to resolving most difficulties in life. I have 4 children of which 2 are military and 2 teens at home. I am a single mom who enjoys nature walks, being involved in the church and living a serene and quiet lifestyle. Reading, writing, volunteering and walks are a few of my favorite things to do.

I have been involved in healthcare since the age of 15 , starting as a "candy striper" volunteer and worked in many areas of the hospital until of age to work in Emergency Medicine. I have been an active EMT/ Paramedic with both volunteer and career departments and taken part in evaluating home safety checks for residents. As a healthcare professional, I have worked in various hospitals and am very knowledgeable in diseases, aging process and treatments. I have a soft heart for our Veterans with several Veteran family members. I love people and enjoy conversing with elders that have so much to share.

I am a current sophomore nursing student with a heart and passion to care for those in need. I love to bring others joy and comfort through the small things in life. Caregiving gives me the opportunity to uplift those who need help. I come from a long line of caregivers--my grandfather a cardiologist, my grandmother a home care coordinator, my mother a labor and delivery nurse, and my father a psychologist--so this peaked my interest for patient care. I have worked as a caretaker for Interim Healthcare and Amada Senior Care during my breaks in schooling. I started my medical journey during my senior year of highschool where I obtained my Emergency Medical Technician certification. My passion for the medical field is continuing to grow as I attend nursing school.

I am very patient and understanding, working with people in the caregiver needs a lot of compassion and patience because these are people who need help and support and most of all love, this love makes them feel alive again, and am ready to share these skills with me because I understand how it feels when you are in need. What attracted me to being a caregiver is how I have been taking care of my nephew who has a disability the more I have been helping him the more I would like to extend my help to other people outside my household because I believe I can share a lot with them. I do enjoy being a caregiver because I feel good being around people I love working with people, especially with elders some of them give great stories and it becomes memories to some of the caregivers, they are just amazing to work with. One of my achievements I am proud of is dedicating myself to school and doing things at the right time, like arriving at work on time those are most of the stuffs I have achieved not forgetting being a people person.

I loved working with senior citizens then I went to college to study different populations. I have a Masters degree from LIberty University in Human Services with a minor in Health and Wellness . I have worked in various settings such as nursing homes, hospitals group homes and in peoples homes

I have worked in the school district as substitute teacher for four years. Before that I worked as a private Nanny who also did home care work with other family members in the households. I have worked a lot with children with disabilities as a home care giver and as a para professional in the school district. I ran errands, planned schedules, answered phones, took kids to and from activities, and provided meals, helped with toilet training, and bath time. I have also worked with older family members which has always been enjoyable for me. I would drive them to and from where they needed to go, help with groceries, give them medication, laundry, assisted with feedings and other needed things around the house.

My love for humanity, being a good listener, my assessment skills, advocating for others and patience makes me a great caregiver. Also, I enjoy attending workshops and conferences to keep updated on health and resources. I have been a caregiver since 10 years old. I took care of the elderly in my neighborhood and when I turned 12 I became a caregiver to my neighbor's children. My dream was always to be in the Healthcare field. I started my nursing career first, as a Nurses Aide, Home Health Aide followed by continuing my education completing the Practical Nursing program, Associates Degree RN and on to My Bachelors Degree in Nursing (RN). When I make a difference in someone's life or see the health improvement and healing in my client, or patient it's rewarding to me, which is why I enjoy being a Nurse. A personal achievement that I am proud of is completing my education in order that I may be more effective in helping others and giving the best of care.

I am dependable, hardworking,,and compassionate with great love for the elderly..I spent many years taking care of my grandparents who raised me. I assisted with errands, making doctor and dentist appointments, cooking , cleaning, and companionship. I also helped with medicine reminders and mobility. One personal achievement Is that I was able to take care of grandparents, my mother with dementia, and my elderly aunt.

I have been a CNA specializing in memory care for the past 4 years in TN. I started traveling last year throughout TN and VA. I just settled in VA as a new RN in emergency nursing. However I like to do CNA/caregiving work on the side in my spare time.

Caring for my grandmother and grandfather is what pushed me to become the caregiver that I am today. I love caring for others and seeing a smile on my patients faces. Being a caregiver is my way of giving back to the world .

Hello! My name is Grace! I have a degree in communications because I love interacting with others, and am currently working on my nursing degree. I believe the smallest interactions and words of encouragement can be the thing that changes someone's whole day, and it is an honor to be able to work with others and be that for them. I became a caregiver because I believe it is my purpose on earth to love and serve others who are unable help themselves. I am a joyful and fun person, who cares and loves deeply in every interaction, therefore making my job as a caregiver purposeful for me. I enjoy the simple interactions with other people and encouragement I am able to provide someone everyday. A personal achievement I am proud of is my year spent living in Argentina studying and learning Spanish, also my determination to start a nursing degree after I graduated with my first.
