I love the fulfillment I receive by being a care giver. My first job, off the farm, was as a CNA in a retirement home. There I cared for one of several wings full of elderly people all with various levels of need. I have found that working with the elderly and being able to bring stability and comfort to their daily lives, the most rewarding job I've ever had. I take care of elderly couples in their 90's to ensure their life quality at home. Love my references.... Today, my grandma is still living independently in a very large home; at the age of 99; that she has maintained for many years. With some outside help, such as myself, she is able to go on living there instead of a retirement home. I look forward to working with my clients and see how I can make things safe and capable for them. I've also come to realize, that even a person, my own age, can have so many needs too and with just the right person to assist with the activities of daily living, makes all the difference in the world to so many people.

I have been in the medical field for over 20 years in one aspect or another. I love home health and end of life care. These allow me to build a relationship with my client and from this I find great satisfaction in my career.

I am very kind and passionate about my work. I have enough training required and have worked in this field for 2 years. I love caring for people.I have always been a humanitarian and so helping the vulnerable is part of me. Interacting with my residents,getting to know them better and creating a family kind of relationship with them. I'm self-motivated and constantly improving on my best work. I find myself flourishing in jobs where communication is essential. I gravitate towards caregiving naturally and find work in health care to be personally fulfilling. My meticulousness has proven to be an asset in my work in high responsibility positions, like my work giving care as a CNA or administering medications as a QMAP. My goal is to become a RN and work in psychiatric care. My background in the food service and insurance industries have made me a well rounded worker and a better caregiver.

I have worked in care giving for 3 years. My dad and my grandmother were both care givers. They inspired me to become a caregiver. I believe this is my passion. I have a hearing disability which I have hearing aids for. This does not affect my ability to provide care. I enjoy being able to help people be as independent as possible.

I have worked for hundreds of clients since I was 16 years old. Caring for a wide variety of people with numerous diseases, disabilities, ages, and personalities.
