I have a willingness to help and assist. I love to make others smile and accomplish any task big or small with a positive spirit. To witness others and myself overcome difficult obstacles is a joy withthin itself.

I am very people orientated. I do what I do because I like it and I love to care for the elderly and the disabled, making them feel happy, safe, wanted and to feel that they are still apart of, and a active member of society. I am attentive, organized, and a multi-tasker.

I've been a caregiver since 2006 professionally and since 2005 in caring for my disabled child. I have experience working with many types of disabilities from children to adults. I'm a free-spirited, carefree person. I love to laugh and to make other laugh. I'm big on respect and treating others how I want to be treated. The empathy I have for people is what attracted me to being a care provider. I believe you can learn from others and what I love the most about it is clients sharing their wisdom, jokes, their experiences and such. Being a mother of four, one child with a disability and is total care and working, one of my biggest achievements has been graduating from college.

I am a 42 years old newly divorced woman with two adult kids and 3 grandkids. I spent most of my life as a military child so I love to travel and meet new people. I got my Ged from Tacoma Community College and I'm currently going to U.S. Career Institute were I am perusing Medical Billing. I have 4 years experience working in the caregiving field and I currently have my certification for CPR, First Aid, and AED. I am a very quick learner so I pick up things easily. I am a people person and I love taking care of people in general.

I wanted to become a caregiver because after my mom fell ill from cancer, there was so much medically that I did not understand. So I became an E.M.T and learned more about how to care for someone in need. I have always been a compassionate and caring person, I just wanted to know more medically. I like being able to make a difference in someone's life, anything I can do to make it easier or more enjoyable makes me happy. I became an E.M.T and attended fire academy, I then volunteered for my local fire department for more than a year. I am a 254 year old female. I am a proud mommy to be. In my spare time I really enjoy working out and going on adventures. I truly know the meaning of making life worth living.

I have been taken care of elderly people for over 20 years. I help them get to doctor appointments, grocery stores and get the chores done around their home. I have patience and love to hear stories. My personal achievement is I went back to college and received my bachelors degree in psychology. I am still in college working on my PhD. I have learned that when working with older adults a person needs to have patience and listen to what the client is saying.

I am a highly level function caregiver, I stay on time of all nursing procedures on top of working to teach professional development to young children who are under terminal care.

I'm a God fearing, caring ,tolerant, patient, and understanding individual. These traits are essentials because, they reflect on the way and manner in which you relate, or behave to individuals, especially people with special needs. I got attracted to being a caregiver because, firstly I'm a humanitarian, also naturally I'm someone who is always moved or driven to help or assist someone I deemed fit. One of the things I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that, besides the financial aspect it's a good thing to be able to be there for someone when needed most, spending time with them, spreading love, care and light in their lives. One out of many personal achievement I'm proud of is that, I'm always able to relate to people regardless the age, sex or color. Through good communication and listening skills(as I'm also a sociologist) as that also helps to enhance good human interaction in society.

I am a down to earth 19 year old. I have some experience caregiving because my grandfathers health has gone down and I fly out to take car of him for a few weeks sometimes. My favorite part about caregiving is helping out people and just making their day better by having someone to talk to. I am a fast learner, so anything I don't have current experience doing I am willing to learn!
