Hello hi my name is Janet , I am 24 years of age , I've been attending school for medical assistance since 2014 . I've also been a diabetic since the age of 13 so I know pretty much a lot about that medical condition . I'm a very reliable person , great with elderly people as well as those who aren't able to care for there selves due to sickness . No I have no certification and that's just being completely honest with you but I've been taking care of my grandmother since a child and she has became sick with different illnesses. There is one thing for sure that I can say I have done without certification , I have been traveling with my mom since a child when she became a caregiver , Seeing and watching her deal with different kind of people in there homes , nursery homes , and also assisting her with her clients so I'm kind of familiar Of the duties that have to be done as well as I know the tasks of a caregiver . If this means anything to you all from the bottom of my heart I am sincere about wanting / receiving a job as a care giver , I'm great with making someone comfortable , calm , and I also have great bonding skills . Hello! My name is Hailey Eggleston and I am a college freshman at Washington State University. I am currently studying kinesiology with the intent of applying to nursing school this coming winter. I received my NA-C last summer through new chapters in healthcare. I really loved doing clinical in the mental health / dementia wing of the nursing home we visited as it is an area of interest for me! I have my mental health training, dementia training, nurse delegations, nurse delegations diabetes, BLS, HIV/AIDS, first aide, and CPR certifications. I love animals! Especially my sweet golden retriever. I am actually currently in the processes of training her to be a therapy dog. Now you've heard a little about me I'd love to get to know you and you're loved one!

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping our seniors with everyday life, I enjoy learning about their lives, I like for them to know that they still matter even as they grow older, that someone still has time for conversation. I know that their families have busy lives and while they do care very much for their elders, their everyday lives are complicated with taking care of everyday issues like the bills. I want to be that person they can lean on to let their aging family member know how special they are to them, I do not want to replace them, I just want to be there when they cannot. I believe that I have stated pretty well what I like about being a caregiver. I am proud that I have overcome some devastating things in my life and have moved on to be a better person who has a great deal of patients, caring attitude, loving respect for others, and want to share a smile with our aging community. I enjoy making others smile and bringing laughter to someone Else's life no matter what is going on in my personal life. I do not bring any personal problems to work with me, I do not feel like you should make someone feel unhappy because you may have issues to deal with, personal problems should stay personal and not a problem for the people you are helping.

I am a people person , i get along with everyone and have always wanted to get into the healthcare field. I help my grandma who has dementia as well as my aunt who is impaired on her left side. I enjoy being able to help people , when i worked in a daycare center i was an assistant teacher in the special needs classroom , i was a dedicated aid as well and just decided to keep up with it. A personal achievement would be helping a student achieve the goal of crawling on his own for the very first time, as well as learning to hold a spoon.

I became a caregiver because i enjoy helping people and giving somebody that companionship that other people have with there families and I also love there company. It feels good tp just have someone there with you to mabey just talk to, and be able to help! One thing i can say that i love about care giving is the relationship you build with your client. One achievement im proud of is being a single mother and having to take care and watch my daughter. And just being able to make it and to provide for her is a wonderful feeling.
