I became a caregiver due to my father becoming sick three years ago and took care of him at home rather than hospitalization. I find in home care to be more personal and compassionate care. I also feel that people recover faster when surrounded with their familiar items. I love the fact of being helpful and feel that i am giving back to a generation that is wise and strong and should be respected for what they have left for the younger generations. I started a flower garden for elderly and youths five years ago and it was a beautiful experience for the young who had never gardened and for the elderly; some who had no grandchildren. I believe that in life you can learn a lot from the past. I love history and being around to lend a helping hand. I have worked for several non profit organizations as a director and have excellent references and people skills.I am trustworthy and dependable, work well under pressure, take constructive criticism well and a great team player.

I am a dual major student at Alabama State University studying Social work and Psychology with a 3.76 GPA. I am very kind and I love working with people. Before I move to Montgomery. I moved in with my grandparents for 5 years and cared for them every since. I loved being able to transport them different places , caring for them , and keeping them in good health. That attracted me to wanting to become and expand my experience as a caregiver.
I am a very dependable, honest, hard working caregiver that wants to give you/your family member the best care possible. I have various skills in health care that I have been highly trained on in nursing homes, hospitals, and home health over the past 11 years. I am wanting a family that I can give my all to as their health care provider, their family, their friend, and just being there for them when they need it the most. I am also a mother of two boys who mean the world to me, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. With all that being said, I hope to be hearing from you soon, my future family!!
I am 20 years old, and I wanted to become a caregiver because I thoroughly enjoy helping people in need. I plan to become a Registered Nurse so I can further my career in care giving. I am patient when it comes to taking care of the elderly, I am highly respectful of them and let them set the pace when there is a certain everyday living activity we are accomplishing; I do my best to encourage them and let them make decisions about their care so they can stay as independent as possible, and it is my personal goal each day to walk in with a smile on my face to ensure that my patient and their families know I am more than happy to help them in any way that I can. I am also very understanding when it comes to families worrying about certain things with their lived one(s) and do my best to assure them that I will always keep my patient's best interest at heart. I do my best to comfort families during the grieving process when their loved one(s) pass away by praying for them and telling them they will be in my prayers, and that God will be with them through the difficult time.
I am a very loving and caring. My patience and my heart to help other make me good caregiver. I enjoy talking with my residents and learning about them and their life. When I can make them feel better and comfortable in spite of having to receive the level of care that they need after being independent, it makes my heart smile.
I'm a people person I get alone with my client, what made me get in this field I love the elderly people . I learn new stuff from them . My goal is to pass on what I've learned over the years from my client. Not having grandparents that my love for them even stronger . Very special to me.
Being a caregiver is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had. I enjoy helping those who either cannot help themselves totally or who are trying to get back on the path to independence. Learning about my clients helps me to better prepare to work for them knowing their history, what type of work ethic they had, knowing what their preferences are, and etc. I can be reached @ 334-301-6837
I became a CNA in 1995, so I could help people that needed care and assistance. I have a caring and loving nature. I feel good when people get the care and assistance they need through my help and efforts. My mom was a caregiver before she retired and I wanted to follow in her footsteps. I am a Army veteran and I know about taking care of people and treating them with respect. I have elderly parents that I care for deeply and I would want them to be treated like I treat my clients with a loving, caring, and honest heart. I love being a caregiver it makes me feel like I'm making a difference in the world.
I've been a nurse for two years now and have developed an affinity for our elderly population. I've primarily been in a hospital setting and have recently worked in an assisted living facility, so I've gained experience in taking care of patients with many different ailments, including diabetes, heart failure, and dementia. I am very patient and willing to devote my time and attention to caring for your loved one with the goal of reaching their best, healthiest selves possible.
