Hi, my name is lomalinda saimon and I am from Micronesia. I have been an cna for five years now and I love being around old and like helping others out especially when they needed and I trained the hard way and learned the hard way that's why I can say that I am a great caregiver . In fact where I come from we respect elders no matter what.
I have been working with the elderly as well as special needs individuals since 2007. I have been trained in areas from behavior all the way to medical wound treatment. I am 26 years old and my mission is to provide the best quality of life possible to everyone I encounter . I am CPR, First aide, and American basic life support certified .
Nursing was my first career choice. I am passionate about doing what I can to help anyone find a new normal to live in. The most beautiful part of this is that I am grateful to have been able to work in a career I love and help others. I have met a lot of beautiful people. The only down side is that families, patients and I usually get attached, and when a job has to end, the parting is usually very difficult.
I FEEL I AM A GOOD CAREGIVER CAUSE I HAVE THE BEST PATIENCE,HEART,AN SMILE AN I TREAT AN INDIVIDUAL AS I WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED ALWAYS... I BECAME A CAREGIVER IN 2000 I HAVE ALWAYS HAD THAT PASSION FOR HELPING THE ELDERLY IF IT WAS FROM OPENING THE DOOR FOR THEM,THEIR GROCERIES,FINDING ITEMS IN THE GROCERIES FOR THEM,HELPING THEM TO THEIR CAR ETC.JUST KNOWING THAT I HAVE HELPED SOMEONE MAKE THEIR DAY A LITTLE EASIER AN THE APPRECIATION FROM IT.... WHAT I ENJOY MOST IS BEING NEEDED BY SOMEONE WHO NEEDS IT THE MOST I LEARN SOMETHING EVERY SINGLE DAY WHICH IS A PLUS,THE SMILES,THE FEELING OF COMFORTING SOMEONE EVERYDAY IS A BIG PLUS...... MY PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT FOR ME I FEEL IS BEING A DIE HARD,CARING,COMPASSIONATE,PATIENT,PERSISTENT,CAREGIVER FOR 18YEARS AN STILL GOING WITH THE UPMOST RESPECT FOR THE ELDERLY..... THANK YOU
I try every time to make my work neat, do the best I can to help ,to do the right thing.Because it's more important to help people even to get paid. All my life, l lived with grandparents. So i know to treat them with respect. The fact of having an opportunity to help people who really needed it, as an human being. You are with people who need you. At the end of my day, I'm proud of being a part of somebody life, like a second hand. A little achievement. A blessing.
I've always loved helping elderly people. Part of what makes me a great caregiver is that people I care for tell me I understand them even when no one else seems to. I ask lots of questions to determine what they want and need. Therefore, they have the maximum autonomy, independence and happiness possible, which is definitely what I would want for myself. I also have the gift of extreme patience when working with elderly people with dementia. They never drive me crazy, most likely because of lots of exposure early in life to that sort of thing. Of course, I'm completely trustworthy. But I also have unusually high integrity, excellent values and am unusually responsible and capable. I have extensive college training in medical information and know what to do. I've been trained by some of the best private caregivers in Louisville and have a network of other excellent caregivers. I have a very wide range of experience in this area up to and including working closely with hospice staff. I'm a multi-talented individual who's an unusually accomplished American. Therefore, I have all kinds of personal achievements I'm proud of. I simply enjoy this type of service and autonomy more than most types of professional work I've done.
