Hello, my name is Tanika. All my life, I have always wanted to care for others. The elderly and disabled individuals has held a special place in my heart. As a young girl, I wanted to be a Nurse because I wanted to make others feel better. My personality traits that help me be an excellent caregiver is a caring heart, respect, and dignity. I have respect and dignity for all my clients. As a cargiver, I never provide care for the individual just for a paycheck. I always care for the indivudal as if it was my mother or father. The wisdom of an elderly individual was what attracted me to becoming a caregiver. The wisdom of an elder is amazing. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is that I am assisting an individual and putting a smile on their faces and their heart.
The things that makes me a great caregiver would be, I am passionate about my job. I love caring for others an giving them reasons to look forward to a smile on their face. My mother has been a caregiver for over 17 plus years. When she decided to become a caregiver I wanted to be just like her. She is my biggest inspiration on caring for others and not just only yourself. I enjoy being a caregiver because I see how some clients are lonely and just would like someone to talk to. If I can beat helping hand to just one person then I have felt as though I have done just one good gesture for the day. I have had experience in nursing homes, I have worked around the mentally challenged, I currently work for a agency as a (HHA).

What makes me a great caregiver is I love helping others and making them smile. I like hands on work. I'm very responsible, respectful and dependable. I became a caregiver when I first started caring for my grandma who had dementia. the bond you have with your client and the family when you are a great caregiver is a great feeling. I feel that when im older, I would want someone like myself there to help if I need help. Being a caregiver is more then a job, you are responsible for another person's well being.
Hi all my name is Jamie and I am 23 yes old. I've been working in the medical field ever since I was 18. I started out working in an Assisted Living here in my hometown. After working there for 2 yrs I ventured off trying a travel type of job as a Travel Medical Assistant, great job but I guess you can say I became homesick so I came home and started working locally at my current job as a Phlebotomist at Quest Diagnostics but no that's not all since I love and had a passion for the elderly I decided to pick up 2 PT jobs at private sitting agencies. So yes I love love LOVE the elderly and just love all that they have to offer. So I look forward to meeting with each of you all hoping I will be that one to provide for your loved one!
I have over 25 years of experience in the medical field. I'm a CNA/GNA, CMT, CPR & First Aid Certified. I attend CEU trainings throughout the year for Alzheimer's Disease. I enjoy providing services allowing individuals to remain in a safe home environment. Being a caregiver is something I've always wanted to do as a young child and I'm glad I'm still able to provide quality services years later.
I am a loving, outgoing, trustworthy individual that will go above and beyond for your loved one...I decided to become a caregiver due to having terminally ill kids at home that needed certain requirements in order to bring them home (such as being straight Cath tube feed, disinpaction etc) so I wanted to help the public! I enjoy taking care of people because I feel like if I am doing it the job is well done and the family always show me there appreciation
What makes me a great caregiver is I love helping people who needs help I did this when my mom was sick and my grandmother also. I have a good personality and I'm very patient person. I enjoy helping people that cant help them self cause I would want someone do for me if I needed help . I was attacked to this because I felt that this is something I always wanted to do so i started caring and helping people in any way I could. My personal achievement is How this career has made me the most patient person and I know how to be very patient and understanding person.
I became a caregiver because I love to help people who can't either help themselves or needs assistance. Also because at the age of 14 I became my mother's caregiver along with my sister and grandmother until I was old enough to take care of my mother on my own for 9 years. What I like about being a caregiver is I know at the end of the day when I go home I have done my job and have made my resident and family happy. It does my heart good when the person and family I care for tell me "thank you". My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I have learned a lot of different things about being a caregiver such as, womb care, medication, transferring just to name a few. I am a single mother of 2 boys 1 girl and I am going to pursue my nursing career. I also have experience in dementia and Alzheimer's care. My current job is working on the ICU unit of a hospital so i have gained a lot more experience in the medical field.
