I have 19 years experience and I love what I do. I have great references and will provide those upon request. I began my career in the health care field by taking care of my grandmother and it became personal to me. I care for my patients as if they are my own family members. I am C.P.R. First Aid and C.N.A. certified. I have also worked with over 40 families to add to those credentials. I am very compassionate as to my performance and have never been let go by any client to date. I have a lot of experience with dementia and a whole lot more. I have also worked with children with disabilities and have done a lot of different kinds of care. I take my job very personal.
What makes me a great caregiver is my heart. I have always cared about the well being of others, it makes me happy knowing that I am able to help people. What I like about caregiving is meeting new people, and being able to do all I can to comfort and help. A personal achievement I am really proud of is working with someone with CP. This person was in a wheel chair for a long number of years, this person gave up long ago. I came in and got to help this person and care for them helped with motaviating this person to start exercising and then we started taking small steps, thru out my years of caregiving with this person. I was able to help get this person out of the chair and to start walking again. It made me feel so good to see smiles from my client and the family because of how I dedicated myself to her, I was able to give hope and was able to see my client do somethings on their own. It is definitely a highlight to caregiving.

I'm 35 years old, Male, I started care-giving when I was young and my father was wheelchair and I would have bathe him, get dressed, change him, help him in and out of bed, and change his leg injury dressings. I just recently found my passion again for care-giving when I was offered to do in-home health care for a family friend. I would cook, clean, food prep, administer medication, take them to their doctor's appointments, go to the market, shower assist as necessary, and provide companionship. Between working with my Father, my family friends, and my actually job experience, I have a little more than 10 years experience in personal care-giving. I'm currently working in a facility, but I'm looking to return to private 1 on 1 care. If interested please feel free to message me.
