To know that I'm giving my best to others in time of need is what gives me purpose. I became a caregiver for my mother, when she was recovering from several surgeries, in different skilled nursing facilities. All the while, making many observations concerning the staff and noticing their attention was not up to my standards of what genuine care should be. I knew then, that I could make a difference and was compelled to. Since, I've made strides in obtaining education with certifications; continue with on-line courses to keep me informed with state guidelines and any changes that occur in the health care field...because this is vital. Moreover, I sincerely feel this is my true calling; I find it very rewarding to nurture. I possess emotional and mental maturity necessary for establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with my client and the client's family. I also encompass dignity, patience, courtesy, integrity and a warm sense of humor. Oh! And I love to cook! My current availability is: Monday, Tuesday Thursday and Saturday mornings to early afternoons from 8a.m. to 2p.m. I've been a caregiver for over 18 years now! I have reliable transportation w/a Texas drivers license. My automobile insurance, CNA, TB screening and CPR are all current and in good standing Thank you for the consideration. Well wishes finding the right fit!
I have been a caregiver for over ten years. It has been a very rewarding career for me. I enjoy helping people. My goal is to be able to keep your loved one happy and healthy while allowing them the independence of staying in their own home. I have a great sense of humor and try to keep them laughing and smiling thru out my time with them. I am self motivated, responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. I like to stay busy. Thank you for viewing my profile and hope to be the perfect match for your loved one.
I am careful, safe, organized and coordinated in transporting clients for their needs whether it is for picking up medications, getting them to and from their appointments, filling out forms, helping with their shopping, all personal care service for their daily living for and anytime they want some simple conversation and just not be alone. To give and share with clients, one must be compassionate and patient and have an understanding that those needing care would like for the caregiver to understand their needs. There happens to be an advantage to being a caregiver that can put themselves in the shoes and situation of those with the need. My joy is realized when the needs are filled and the cared for people are grateful and thankful. I want to give the care and experience the joy often. I have experienced this joy with my parents as I cared for them. Currently I am a part-time caregiver for various clients providing them all the assistance they may need. Professional and courteous, always on time. Administering medication and food through a gastric tube. Bathing and attending to other personal hygiene and grooming needs. Food preparation and feeding client, according to strict dietary requirements and procedures Cleaning and light housekeeping (client's laundry, dishwashing, cleaning spaces used by client and caregivers, cleaning therapy equipment) Assisting with therapies (cognitive, speech, occupational) and range-of-motion exercises, including manual transfers to and from bed to assist client with weight-bearing and balance exercises. General companionship and interaction with client (i.e. reading books, cognitive therapies). Driving client to and from appointments and activities in a client-provided wheelchair accessible van.
I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. One of the best qualities as a caregiver is my ability to be empathic. I understand that my client may feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, and being able to identify and allay these fears can create a sense of calm and trust for those being cared for.
I love to help my patients feel great about they self...My goal is to provide you with quality personalized care though appropriate coordination of skilled care and services to meet your specific healthcare need..qualified health care professionals will provide on going cashmere, that's is appropriate, competent and consistent..

Good day. I am a 56 yr old father of 4, experienced caregiver. I attended Baylor University in the 80's for a couple of years before enlisting in the USAF. I worked with students with disabilities for Northside ISD for many years. For a few years now, I've immersed myself in the seniors care field and have devoted my work to assist the families of: a WWII 94yr old veteran with dementia and blindness, a 63 yr old retired DEA agent with Parkinson's symptoms, a charming southern lady with fall risks, an army veteran with Alzheimer's, and a former Texas cowboy with post-traumatic brain injury. I'm well versed in providing many services required in at-home caregiving. I have helped with everything from mobility, light housekeeping/meal prep, meds mngmnt, and bathing to companionship, bathing, wound care, and physical/occupational/speech therapy exercises. I believe if given an interview, you'll see I might suit your expectations. Direct communication with me optional. References upon request, of course. Thank you. Jose T

Hello! My name is Arbie. I am 28 years old, married. Me and my husband are blessed with two daughter. I was born and raised from the Philippines and migrated here in Texas year 2009. I am eldest among my five siblings and grew up with my grandparents. Although I am not experienced with employers in medical field, I am very experienced taking care of elders. My grandfather suffered from kidney chronic disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and gout disorder. And I was lucky enough to return him the favor until he die just last January. My grandmother also have diabetes, high blood pressure, and had suffered stroke. Thankfully, I was able to provide and take care of her. I am also experienced with patient that suffered depression and bipolar disorder. My younger brother was diagnosed with these, and I am his nurse at home. Throughout my experiences with my grandparents and my younger brother, I realize that I was born for this. Though it wasn't very easy, it was amazing and I cherish every moment of it. By the end of the day, my heart filled with joy knowing how much difference I make to someone elses life. If you kindly hired me to take care of you, I can guarantee my hard work and it will so much help my little family. Thank you in advance.
