Hello! I'm a very compassionate and loving person that likes to help families and there loved ones.I became a caregiver after experiencing on helping my mother after she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and Brain Cancer.My sisters and I took care of our mother with a lot of love and compassion. After this experience I wanted to become a caregiver and help families and seniors with everyday tasks and be a friend companion. I most enjoy about being a caregiver is listening and helping others on things they can not do themselves. I love being apart of something that is a wonderful experience in my life and theirs too.
I am from Lawrence, KS but currently followed my husband to Seattle for the summer for his architecture internship. I am looking for a part-time or full-time caregiver position during the weekdays. I absolutely love meeting people, learning their stories and spending time with them. I would have to say my strengths are patience, creativity, compassion and flexibility. Becoming a caregiver has been a great experience for me. I have learned so much from working with seniors and the great stories and life advice I get has been what makes working as a CNA something I love to do. Able to help with personal hygiene, showers, getting ready in the morning or getting ready for bed. Transferring in and out of w/c, meal preparation, meal setup, medication reminders, transportation for errands or doctor visits. One on one companionship and help with daily needs.

Currently, I am a caretaker in a group home for folks with development disabilities and I really love helping people. I've had almost seven years' experience working as a C.N.A. and C.M.A while I've been a full-time college student. Currently, I work full-time through At Home Instead Senior Care. I am also a full-time college student at Kansas State University, I am finishing my last semester and plan to graduate this May. I am moving to Lawrence Ks, at the end of January and I am looking for an available position. I have worked in nursing home, assisted living, and worked for in-home care companies. The last few years I done more private care, and I really enjoy the one on one relationships, it's not only more enjoyable for me, but also for the client. My CPR certificate is up to date, I have worked primarily with the elderly in assisted living facilities, and currently work day shifts. I have also worked as an in-home care giver. I have impeccable references, and have been recognized as a hard worker and team player.
