I went CNA and HHA class to take care of my aligning grandparents. After they passed away I used them to get thru Social Work school. After getting my degree and working a couple years in social work I know it wasn't for me. I found a job that need my aide and got a job as a para at school. When my kids I work with for five years moved I went back to get my CMA, I have been a med aide for 4 years. I now want to go back to school LPN and to do that I need something that is more flexible and to keep people in their home as always been my goal. My personal achievement that I'm the most proud of is my two loving kids, and I've been married to my high school sweet heart for 21 years. I'm a very hard working, and I tend to be a perfectionist. I think God every day for the blessings I have in my life.

Hi, My name is Kristen and I have been an LPN since 2014, I have experience in geriatric nursing, pediatric nursing and family medicine. I became a nurse because I love helping people, not just medically but emotionally too. I am a firm believer that hugs and just being there for someone is sometimes more beneficial to them than any medication or medical treatment they could receive. I look forward to being a part of your families care.
My name is Octavio Villa. I am 24 years old and am currently obtaining my Masters Degree in Forensic Science at Emporia State University. I have worked at 3 different locations (Johnson County Developmental Support, Ashley Home Care Services, and Helpers, Inc) that have allowed me to experience and develop a variety of skills that have made me an ideal candidate for any individual seeking a caregiver. I have 1.5 years of experience. The reason I decided to work in this occupation is due to my youngest brother who has disabilities. Also, I believe I posses the required skills to be an ideal caregiver such as patience, understanding, and empathy. It goes without saying but being a caregiver is a very rewarding and satisfying position.
