I became a caregiver because I love caring & providing for those who need assistance. I love making others feel good about themselves & knowing they have help when needed. I achieved being moved up to a higher CNA position at a job once for such great proformance in my work. I've been a caregiver for 7years & I really enjoy it. I plan to become an RN one day.
My name is Kiandra Donaldson, and I am 36 years old. I'm from South Carolina and reside here my entire life. I started doing homehealth care over 10 years ago. I have an artistic brother whom I helped my parents take care of who is now 27 years old. What makes me a great caregiver is that I show empathy and compassion to my clients, to let the person I am caring for know that I care about him/her and want to do what I can to help them. I'm also, patient, reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. What attracted me into becoming a caregiver is "always wanting to help people." I like making someone smile, and doing little things to make a person's day better. What I like about being a caregiver is seeing my clients smile, listening to their stories, and helping them to become more independent. I am most proud when my clients are happy!!!
I'm a great care giver because I have compassion for the elderly. I wanted to become a care giver because my adopted mother became ill with Alzheimer's and obesity. She was no longer able to care for herself so I did so. The most enjoyable thing I love is to make sure I keep my client happy and clean. I'm proud of being able to accomplish my goal of helping others best feeling in the world.
I am 35 years old. I been in care giving for 15 years. I have been married for 9 years. We have 6 children , all whom was adopted. We have been foster/ adoptive parents for 7 years. I love children and taking care of the elderly , and disabled. I have my CPR, first aide, and PPD done.
I believe I make a great caregiver because I genuinely care about people. I care about the level of care they receive, and I care about them being well taken care of. I believe each person has a right to be happy and taken care of, as a caregiver it is my job to help achieve that. I have always had a caregiver's heart and started volunteering at a hospice service while I was in high school. I then took that love I had for taking care of people and applied it to my education. I have received my CNA and I am working on obtaining my RN. What attracts me most to this line of work is the satisfaction of knowing you helped someone who needed you, and that you help make their life easier.
I decided to become a Caregiver after I saw the compassion each Caregiver provided to my grandmother. And what I enjoy the most about being a Caregiver is the special individuals I meet with their various life history, and knowing that I am contributing in some way. Because of the compassion I provide, I had the experience of changing my clients' negative perception about Caregivers into a positive one. I enjoy time with my family, reading, classic movies, visiting museums and the outdoors.
I am a great caregiver because I love helping older people that needs help. I became a caregiver because when I was very young I had to help my grandfather whom needed help very much and most of the older people had other things to do so I knew I had time to help and I really enjoyed him counting on me. I'm proud of them being proud of ME.....
My name is Kiera, I have been a great caregiver for a couple years now and i love it! I am young so I'm a bit more energetic but that's the best characteristic about me as a caregiver. My mother and grandmother are both caregivers so it's in my family. But the reason i love being a caregiver is because I love the fact that I'll be changing a persons life and money can't buy that feeling. So after reading this I hope to be able to take care of your loved ones.
