I have been a licensed home health aide for 17 years. I have cared for many different patients-from Alzheimer's, dementia, parksons, M.S, and mentally challenged. I have many references if needed? I look forward of taking care of your loved one. I also have a criminal background and driving background check that I keep up with myself. I have many references from families along with recommendation letters from companies.
I have about 15 years of experience in taking care of elderly in their private homes and in health facilities. I really enjoy this job because it allows me to express my passion to those who need love and care in their different situations. I am very hard working, competent, caring, reliable and honest.
Well a little about me. I'm a mother of two kiddos. A boy and a girl whom I love dearly. I went to college at NCTC to study cosmetology and it was fun while it lasted but that's not what my soul was made out for, I started caregiving back in highschool when you could go to work and still earn credits for school. I worked for SkyView living center and we took care of kids with special needs and I feel in love with being able to give someone a helping hand in their time of need. Ive been doing ever since. I wouldn't change it for the world. Please feel free to call my references Cheryl Thomas 940-594-9729 Katrina McPearson 940-435-2225
Well,in my country I was a doctor and in the hospital I saw many sick elderly people and my greatest joy was when I saw a smile on the patients' faces, when I felt I could help them, that's why I want this position,I like to help the elderly,I see them become very fragile and need support and company.I would be proud to work as a caregiver and improve I am also studying nursing and caregiver would helps me a lot that nursing and nursing helps me a lot to treat with elderly. My goal is to be better every day and I want to grow with.
I became a Caregiver because I feel like I am making a difference in someone's life. A smile, touch or words of encouragement can add so much to the life of a sick or elderly person. This kind of connection makes my job more than what it is and that gives me personal satisfaction. I like being a Caregiver because I enjoy meeting new people, and no 2 days are the same. I'm proud of graduating from CNA school at the top of my class and passing the state CNA class on the first try. I am married with 3 very active teenage boys. I enjoy being an active mom in their lives. Originally I am from Naperville, Illinois. My husband's company transferred to Fort Worth in 2008. I have had various other positions. Late summer last year was when I started my studes for my CNA career.
I am a certified professional caregiver after many years of caring for ill, and elderly family members. I enjoy giving others in need a sense of independence, and a better quality of life while remaining in their home. I love incorporating a variety of art therapy projects in my work with my clients, I've found it to be very beneficial. I also enjoy helping with pets, and am a devout cat lover! I am currently certified in Adult/Infant/Child CPR and AED training. I have a certification in basic first aid, a certification in (CBT) Cognitive Behavior Therapy and I also have a certificate for Trauma Based IDD issued by (DADS) Department of Aging and Disability Services with the state of Texas.
My life experiences makes me an excellent candidate of a caregiver. I'm an good listener, with an kind given heart. I have always been considerate of other people needs and I'm very patient with people. I was an caregiver to both of my parents before they pass on, which is the main reason I have a need in my life to server others.
I am a kind loving caring person who absolutely loves people. I love being a CNA and getting to be a little part of so many lives. I've always wanted to be a CNA but the cards didn't line up for me until a few years ago. I knew without a doubt when my grandpa got sick and I had to take care of him that this is what I had to do, it was definitely my calling in life. I'm a big hearted person who loves to take care of others.
I have been a certified nurses aide for about 9 years and my experience mainly includes working in a long term care facility, with some home health and private sitting jobs part time throughout the years. I am also a medication aide and have been for 5 years. I'm compassionate about what I do and hard working. I am currently taking prerequisite classes to apply to nursing school within the next two years to get my RN/ADN. I enjoy helping in a private setting because I'm able to spend the one on one time as opposed to in a facility you have to divide your time to ensure your job gets done.
I became a caregiver after working in a nursing home for 2 years. I prefer home care because I feel a person should stay in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible and have one on one care. My goal as a caregiver is to make the client as comfortable and happy as possible.
I have always been a caregiver, though it's always been with children, I decided to try a part-time job during the summer taking care of seniors and I absolutely fell in love. I enjoy helping others, becoming part of families, hearing stories of times past, there is just so much seniors can offer and I enjoy learning from them. My grandparents were my world, so many things I love doing I got from them. From gardening, going on adventures, and story time. Since I've switched from children to seniors I've been asked so many times how? How could I switch like that? To me all I did was trade the size. Littles and seniors have so much in common and we have so much to learn from both. I'm an energetic person, I don't sit still very well for too long, but I do understand that quiet\nap time is sometimes necessary. Something I'm very proud of ( other than being a mother and now a grandmother) is making it through college. I attended later in life with my older daughter's while having another daughter in that later part of my life. It's an accomplishment I don't think I could have done without the support of my girls and family. I don't have any direct schooling in caring for seniors but I have years of experience and it's something I'm very passionate about.
I've raised two beautiful children and I've been happily married going on 25 year's to a wonderful man that brings out the best in me. Along the way I've cared for many family members over the years with various health conditions. After caring for my family I found myself wanted to do more to help others. Over the years I've cared for three beautiful ladies and family members and a few small children.
