My work as a caregiver was during the time I was attending college. It allowed for fairly flexible hours and was extremely rewarding. I enjoyed building relationships with all my clients. Later, I received a BA in Graphic Design. I've worked in that field since. I'd like to take a break from my work behind a computer. I genuinely care about people and enjoy helping them to remain independent. The tasks often required for the patients seem to come as second nature, i've got 2 kiddos (one now in college and a 15 year old) so cooking, cleaning, errands and some form of assistance with all at one time or another. I also care for my mother part time. She's fairly independent but depends on companionship and errands. I enjoy chatting quite a bit and human interaction in general. I love to laugh and try to be a bright spot in everyone's day.

I am a compassionate and honest caregiver. Honestly I have only one time experience with a family member. I love working with the elderly and listening to stories and helping them. I enjoy just being able to be there for them I love helping people. A personal achievement in proud of is I graduated high school early. I'm also proud of myself for going after my dream of helping people in need. Growing up I volunteered inmany nursing homes among libraries helping children. I would love to gain more experience and help as many as I can.
One of my biggest passions in life is to help others in any way I can. Being able to interact one on one with client's would provide an excellent opportunity to learn individual's needs and be able to treat them as a person not a patient. I'd love to be able to make a difference in someone's life and create a positive atmosphere when I'm around.

I have been in the healthcare field since 1993. I enjoy taking care of people and making life easier. I have worked in Nursing homes,Private sitting and home health care. I know how to lift, shower, feed, cook, clean and listen. That's the first part of taking care of someone. Listen to what they need or what even if they can't communicate.
I am a compassionate and caring caregiver with patience and kindness toward all my patients. I became a caregiver/CNA because I enjoy helping people but there's a special place in my heart for the elderly. I enjoy being able to help my patients but I also enjoy having conversations with them and getting to know them. I am proud of my achievement of becoming a CNA 12 years ago and being awarded employee of the month during my time at hospice.
Hi my name is Frances Ureste I have been in the medical field taking care of the elderly for over 15 years. My experience in all these years has grown. When i was 12 my greatgrand mother needed alot of help. Walking, bathing and spending alot of time with her. At that age i wanted to play but, i did thing as she asked. She soon started to depend on me alot more. She died when i was fourteen. I understand what families are going through. I went through it myself now that im older i feel that it's important not to just give the person the things they need. But to truly be there freind for them and the family. Because this is a tring time for all.

I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity , respect and compassion and I strive to treat my clients as I would my own parent. I am patient and kind when dealing with my clients who repeat themselves often, forget my name or are having a bad day. My experience is with patients suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia and that can be challenging but it is the most rewarding job.
