I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people in need. It is very rewarding helping other people. I have had a CNA license but it has been awhile and I have not had it renewed. I have a Associates Degree in Computer Science. I am a Christian lady with 6yrs. experience in caring for the elderly. I am a very caring and compassionate person. I believe in giving my patients the best of my care. I enjoy reading a good book, watching a good movie and spending time with family and friends. I also like to try and stay in shape.
I am a compassionate energetic female with a good sense of humor. I have 15+ years experience. First as a cna and then as a licensed nurse working with hospice and geriatric clients . I am very dependable. Both my parents had hospice at home. I know the importance of being some where when people depend on you. It is rewarding for me to know that families feel a sense of relief that their loved ones are in good hands when I care for them
I have been a very compassionate, meticulous caregiver for over 20 years. I've operated in home health, hospital, and acute care settings. Also, within the 20 year span I have experience in a broad range of medical fields that has enhanced my career. I became a caregiver at the age of 20 caring for my grandfather of terminal cancer. I enjoyed the gratification and the enjoyment of fulfilling one's life with happiness. Being at the bedside to care for my patient is the most pleasurable environment to be in and to see them get the meticulous care they need. Also, to see them being nursed back to better health.

I like being a Caregiver because I am a very caring, loving person and enjoy helping people. Also the achievement I am proud of is that people I am in the company of enjoy me because I focus my attention directly on them.

I am a nurse aid, about to take my CNA certification test this month. I currently work for Home Instead Senior Care. I provide both personal care and companion care. I have additional training in caring for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients and most of the clients I currently care for have this. I also have additional certifications in Arthritis care, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) care, and shower safety training. I have a bright, bubbly, uplifting personality. I love to care for others. I always treat my patients with the same respect and care that I would my own grandparents. I am willing to work around other's schedules, and can accommodate special and unique needs. I get along well with family members and children, I also love animals. I have my own transportation and am prompt. I always try to go the extra mile to better the lives of others.
I am a caregiver in my own family and always have been in my own special way. I have been told I have the patience of a saint, and I always thought that was true. I would love an opportunity to spend every day doing this for a living instead of just when the occasion arises, like when my own day her allows me to care for him. This month I am completing my associates degree in Business and can't wait to put it to some use. Only problem is, I am very caring and compassionate and the business world doesn't present a lot of jobs for those type of people. Until I have kids of my own I'd love to care for a family member who needs that extra attention. Thank you for reading this message and considering me.
