First of all I love working with the eldery. My mother use to be a cna and my sister is almost done with nursing school. I really enjoy learning about people and there lives. My best achievement in live are my 3 wondering children. Also taking care of people I think thats what i was born to do.
The God given qualities that make me a great care giver is the action of treating the individuals that I have had the opportunity to care for with respect and dignity that everyone on this earth deserves. I have an innate ability to treat people the way I want to be treated and I understand that everyone needs some one to care for them.
I have been in this business since 1986 I have worked with a lot of interesting people .that I grew to love like my own I lost my cna certificate due to illness but now that I am better I am ready to get back to work and do what I love .my last case I was with for 11 years and went to work at a nursing facility until illness .but I am well now
Well I can say I look at myself as genuine person. I was in a Christian home so I was taught to be caring and thoughtful to others. I became a caregiver at a very young age basically taking care my grandparents as my parents worked So therefore I have compassion, patience and very attentive and I'm proud to say my last patient was more than just that she was like family because I loved her as my mom so I'm proud to accomplish that with the Turner's family
I have been a caregiver for over four years with family, another four years with kids of my own and nieces and nephews. Furthermore, I have been an caregiver in the health care facility for two years. I have a humorous personality, but not more then an loving, giving, and caring heart for others. My passion for caregiving started when I was in middle school picking out my future job career, which is becoming a pediatric nurse. It has always been my set passion career goal and I am still pursuing and working towards its completion. Being able to care for others helps me and others in life of becoming a better person and realizing how to enjoy life while we can. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I have been in college for 5 years on and off but still have not given up on completing my goal of becoming an RN/Pediatric Nurse.
My name is Dreanna. I am currently in school for nursing. This is my second semester. I have been a cna for 6 years and a phlebotomy tech for 2. All together I've been in the healthcare setting for 10 years. I'm 26. I work part time for New Beginnings Health and Career Training Center. I love being able to help people. My focus after nursing school will be rehabilitation. I love to see the progress. I'm a very bubbly person and I think my type of attitude is conducive to wellness as a whole. A positive attitude and a reassuring personality and also a smiling face.
I am a very nice and patient person. Growing up my grandmother worked as a caregiver and I tagged along, eventually becoming really interested in it. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is being able to make every client feel accepted and happy. I am still experiencing the field of caregiving so my greatest achievement is yet to come.
I have a lot are love, compassion, and enjoy work with elderly listening to the wisdom that they have. I became a Cna in 2000. At first I wanted to become a caregiver just to say I followed in my mother's footsteps but after I became certified I actually feel in love with the job. Your heart really has to be in this to be the best caregiver you can be. I love being able to help and assist people that can no longer do everything for themselves and I look at them as I would my own family. Being a Cna this long has inspired me to want and be able to do more in the medical field so I'm currently enrolled in college working on my LPN. I'm a wife and mother of 4 beautiful daughters in which all of them support me fully in everything I do. I love life and being apart of the lives of others.
I became a caregiver to have the opportunity to help someone in need and to make a difference in someones life.I enjoy seeing the smiles on my clients faces at the end of the day. Making life better for someone gives me great pleasure.A personal achievement that I'm proud of is returning to school to obtain my GED.I was motivated by refusal of a job in a hospital as a cna.I was given the job and it was taken away at the end of the interview, that was my turning point. To share something about myself,I would say that I'm honest, hard working and reliable.I don't take the health of people lives lightly.I try to give 100% dedication in order to provide them with primary quality care.I have also had very personal experiences in caring for family members and friends.Helping others is not just a job for me,it's part of who I am.
