I have volunteered at nursing homes, and advocate for those who need to heard. I nurture by nature and love to influence and motivate people to keep there independence. Being a caregiver isnt a job for me its a passion. I'mattracted to being a caregiver because the work itself made me feel good knowing I've done right by someone who needs me. My personality is very big and I love, love and feel that everything will work out right with patience and love. I'm a great caregiver, because of my compassion for people, especially senior care, developmentally disabled, those who can't speak for themselves, both verbally or non-verbally, being a voice. I've always been attracted to caregiving from a young child. Since caring for both parents, and family members. I enjoy being a part of helping others have a quality of life, through love, care and spiritual enlightenment that they otherwise may not have access to. It is a blessing to help others have an extended quality of life, that may not have otherwise been realized.
My goal is to provide senior care with compassion,reliability and honesty. My concern is making sure seniors are comfortable and safe. Completed CNA course and have experience in home care. I continue to take classes that will benefit my patients. Transportation ? Appointments?, Shopping? Get out of the house? . I have a great sense of humor ,loving ,caring give hugs to humans and belly rubs to dogs. My special interest is taking care of the termanily ill. I have experience with diabetic care and hospice. So many people in this world need help and this is where my heart is. Professional uniform worn to all jobs.
Nursing is much more than a good job with great pay, it's a gift. It's the gift of life, on a daily basis your touching the lives of others, granting patients health, and hope of getting back home to family. Being a nurse is very rewarding and influential and rewarding career. Nurses care for people through illness, injury, pain, loss, dying, grieving, birth, growth, from adolescent to elderly. The love and compassion I have for nursing pores out into my daily life, as well as professional. Loving what what you do is one things but when you actually enjoy your career, the energy I put into it spills over to the care I provide and that only makes for my career choice that much more promising.
I am a married 54 year old woman with three grown daughter's and 6 grandchildren of my own and 2 step children and 3 grandchildren. I have had several clients that I have been assisting. I also took care of my mother and father towards the end of their lives. I am a very compassionate caring individual. I enjoy being able to assist people in need. I have a client at this time that I take shopping and to her doctor appointments. I sort her meds for her so that she gets what she needs on a daily basis. I habe a huge heart and a lot of love to share. There are not enough caring compassionate loving people out there to be with our senior adults. I have taken several courses to better myself for the best Adult care services possible.

I am a very hard working, dedicated and responsible person. I got into the caregiving field after taking care of my grandparents, I put my heart into this work. I enjoy helping and making people feel good no matter what state of being they're in. I have to say my best personal achievement that makes me most proud is being able to touch other people's hearts effortlessly.
I have been an CNA/Direct Care Giver for going on 7 years I honestly have passion for what I do it's not just a job for me I love helping people in need. Not only making them feel save but making sure they feel cared for respecting and able to still feel their dignity and independence. What attracted me to become a caregiver is helping my ill father and grandmother. From having to feed bath change transfers range of motion companionship and making sure they never give up, and also working in an environment where people needed all kinds of help, Nursing homes, hospitals independent and assist livings or even just everyday living. I enjoy the one on one connection and conversation. And making my client feel welcome and understood. I experienced a lot being a caregiving and the friendships I build with clients and families is absolutely wonderful I'm really a peoples person. I'm all smiles and all care My most wonderful personal accomplishments was being able to give private duty services to a lot of people I never met all from family and client recommendations because they absolutely loved my work
I have never considered working as a caregiver a "job" that I go to everyday. It's my passion and I enjoy greatly working with those who need personal care in any given situation. It takes a special kind of person to be a caregiver; qualities that I possess are compassion, empathy, patience, being a good listener, motivating and being a positive person! What I love about caregiving is providing reassurance to the family and the patient that their loved one is comfortable, content and peaceful. Respecting the families wishes and knowing that they are putting their trust in me makes me go the extra mile.
