Why I like about being a caregiver is helping someone who needs me the most and help to put a smile on their face. I am jovial person and to make someone's day that is a great feel. To be a great Care giver. you have to have a loving and caring heart and attitude,be patience, be a good listener, attentive and observant. For some Clients speak with their body and not with their voice, You have to be able to understand body language. I became a care giver, because I love caring for older people, starting with my Grand parents and then my parent, and other relatives,
I became a caregiver because,i am interested in taking care of elderly people and children aswell.what I like about caregiven especialy is knowing or I get to know more about human nature and also personally, I am proud of achieving a degree in caretaking.i am very good at this work and obedient to my loyalty.
I always liked to help people since I was a child. My grandmother brought me a child doctor kit and my family were all my patients even while they were asleep. I like to meet people and learn new things. I took a customer service class while in college. I am a team player. I took a nurse aide course in 1999 and my license is still current. I have taken a medical assisting course and received my Associate's Degree in 2009. My grandmother and mother had encouraged me to go to school and get certified like my mother. They were my supporters. My grandmother and mother let me practice all I learned with and my grandmother most times on her. My grandmother became ill and that was more of a push for me because I didnt understand the things my grandmother was going through. So I pushed harder for school and she fought harder to push me through. She died a little after I had passed my state exam. I just wanted to quit but I remembered my grandmother and the hardwork we did together. I pushed on after my grandmother died. My mother died and I decided to go to LPN school. My personal achievement I never thought of that. But if I had to think of 1, I would say it would the drive withing myself to not quit at my dreams and goals.

I became a Caregiver and went on in the Medical field to help people to have a more productive life. I became a Care giver to make lives more not less.I believe that anyone can live a good long life if we focus on what they can do not on what they cannot. I believe in being innovative and making sure they are healthy, mentally, physically and Spiritually. God is Love and he loves us. So , we must love one another as he loves us.
Growing up, I was around science majors and immediately I took a liking to the health field. I am currently in school to be a Nurse because that is my calling. I have a nurturing nature that comes naturally. It gives me joy to know that I can take care of someone or assist them to the best of my ability and put a smile on their face. If you ask anyone one thing about me that they admire is the fact that I am very caring.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I have the patience and understanding that we all need help in some type of way. I have been a caregiver for 19 years in every capacity. I have worked with the mentally ill, psychiatric and geriatric population. I also know that it is not for everyone, but I know its rewarding. What I am most proud of is that I have held the same job for 19 years and counting. I have a caring heart, and I am humble enough to understand that in every walk of life, you have to be kind and remember that one day you can be in that person's shoes, so humility is one of my strengths.
I've been the caregiver in my family and being a person with a good heart I like helping elderly and I care about them like I care for my own parents.
