What make me a great caregiver is my personality I am a very happy, caring and loving person with patience and a little over 10 years of experience. What attracted me to be a caregiver is wanting to be an assistant to those who can no longer assisted themselves with daily living activities. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the client and just being able to be there to give a helping hand . My personal achievements that I'm proud of is getting my job done each and everyday to the best of my ability.
I am a semi-retired RN and want to continue working with people as an in home caregiver. I provide supportive, helpful relationships that meet the goal of achieving and maintaining a person's health and independence, or respite for family caregivers. I have years of experience in geriatric nursing, dementia (Alzheimer's, stroke), brain/neurological disorders, mental health and home health care. I believe in maintaining people's independence, respect and dignity in the safety and comfort of their own home. I have been described by families and clients as compassionate and caring with a sense of humor that helps establish trusting, dependable, warm relationships. Hourly rates are negotiable, unlike home care agencies that charge min.$28 for staff with NO medical background other than OTJ training. I charge $20-$25 depending on number of hours and live in or not.
Hello, I would like to thank you for taking the time to open my profile. I would like to take a few minutes to tell you about myself. I have been careing for family's and their loved ones for over 30 years, must say I love what I do. I take every family that I choose to care for to heart as like a member of my own family. My goal is to make sure my client lives the highest quality of life possible. I know that I am capable, confident responsible and ultimately trustworthy. I have my most experience with cancer patients, stroke patients and Dementia/ Alzheimer patients. I find joy most doing two things for my clients that makes my heart filled with joy, that's caring for them with all my heart, and cooking meals for them that are prepared with the same love. I also have my past families recommendation letters on hand to email to you. I would appreciate it if you can take a moment and read them over to get a good feel of who I am and exactly what I do. Thank you for your time.
