Thank you for your consideration.
I'm a nice, outgoing and caring caregiver who loves to listen to old stories from the elderly. I'm very patient and dependable. also I'm very attentive to changes with love ones. I've always had a passion to work with people that have Alzheimer and dementia, they are loving people. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is being able to assist someone who is in need of my help. Helping others I think has always been my calling so I chose to work with the elderly. A personal achievement that I am proud of is going through an Alzheimer's and Dementia training and getting to experience real life struggles that they deal with

The level of being patient and I do more of listening than talking so it makes me a great care giver. Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health conduction or disability everyone deserves a quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "compassionate caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now him being such a young man he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him, and I did just that, so I could be of help to my friend and that he could have a quality life. So I took a course on so I learned how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so I could transfer him from his wheel chair to the my car and him from the car to his wheelchair , that alowed us to go places and do things together. Then he began to stop looking at his self deficiencies but started making planes to do things and to love life so he stated visiting places and I enjoyed are times together just like old times. So this is how I got stattrd, involved into caring for people.
Why I became a caregiver?I always like helping the elderlybecause they appreciate you and what you do for them.with a lot of my patients I feel I can always learn from them as they learn from me.I always help the family as well.anything I can do to make their lives easier and comfortable. Is ok with me.whenever I help them feel so privileged to be in their presence.
Hi, My name is DeDe. Being a caregiver for 10+ years has really helped me in so many ways. When my great grandmother was really sick and my family had a hard time finding help, I took it upon myself to take care of her until she passed away. This experience led me to my true passion. I have worked in private homes, group homes, etc. My desire is for excellence, quality and most importantly "LIFE", and to provide individualized care to each of my clients with the utmost dignity and respect. I enjoy the opportunity to impact my clients' lives in a positive way. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. I always give 100% and do the best job I can with no exceptions and no excuses. I take care of my clients physically, mentally and emotionally to enable them to have the best quality of life possible.
