Caring , Compassionate, trustworthy, loving and dependable. I have a passion of caring for people. I enjoy helping people so they can meet their needs. My personal achievement is when I trained my patient to help feed themselves when they were not able to when I first started working with them.
I do caregiving because to me its more of a calling than a job. I'm compassionate, caring and a good listener which i believe is a very important skill in this field.I'm a good house keeper too i like to live in a neat and safe environment which i practice with my residents too.i did interior design as a course,i use that skill alot in my residents homes i like declattering arranging and organizing. I'm a certified caregiver in the state of Texas with a CNA,BLS and CPI certification,i currently work in a facility but i would like to do a one on one care which i can give all my attention to my patient.I have good reference and a background check i will provide both when needed.
I am currently enrolled in Collin Community College for nursing. I love helping people in need. I get a sense of happiness from it. My mom used to be a home health aide and my grandma is one as well. I'm looking to do this as a start to my nursing career. I have very little experience but hope to change that. I am very motivated and determined to become a great nurse and be able to make people as happy as I am when I help them! I have a 1yr old boy and I adopted my 11 yr old sister. This is my opportunity to show them that you can do anything if you set your mind to it.
I have been a Licensed Vocational Nurse since 2011. All I have ever wanted to be was a nurse. I love getting to know my patients on a personal level as well as offering the best care possible. Since obtaining my license I have worked at a long term care facility where I cared for 32 residents as well as a behavioral health center. I have a lot of experience with various medications, wound treatments and diabetic care. I strive to give every one of my patients the kind of care I would want my family members to receive. I look forward to working with you.

I am a register nurse and I retired in May 2014 when I moved from Reno, Nv. to Mckinney, Tx. After a year of retirement I missed nursing and the one on one contact with patients but did not wish to return to the shift work, overtime, week-ends etc, so I tried caregiving and loved it. I graduated from nursing school in 1966 and work steadily until 2014. I have worked in the areas of neurosurgical intensive care, renal dialysis, home health, psychiatry, alcohol and drug abuse. My last place of employment was the Washoe Co Jail in Reno, Nv where i worked for over 11 years as a psychiatric nurse. I am independent and self starting with a great work ethic. I approach each client as a unique individual with unique needs and desires and I encourage them to let me know what those are. I am patient and nonjudgemental. I like building a relationship of trust and rapport with my clients. I like the satisfaction of helping them to enjoy the highest level of health and wellbeing as possible. When I worked for United Health Care I was chosen as employee of the quarter.
I am a Christian who just want to help those who are in need of help. I worked in telecommunications for 42 years . Helping customers I could not touch or feel. I am now trying to start a second career helping those who are truly standing in the need for love and care. I can make sure all medication is taken. I can take them to the doctor appointments and be a companion to them. This is a desire that I have and I am willing to take any classes that can better assist me in training to do an excellent job.
Care giving can be a difficult but rewarding career. Seeing a patient being able to do something they couldn't previously do, is something unexplainable. When i went into healthcare, I was inexperienced other than just being a mother. I grew close to my patients and cared for them just like I would my own family. I have made personal bonds with patients and their families so strong that they came to me with issues/concerns to be resolved vs higher ranking employees. I put everything i have into helping others, to the best of my abilities. I am kind, patient, attentive, caring and a hard, dependable employee, dedicated to patient care and well being.
I became a CNA, caregiver about 8 years ago. I love taking care of people and all their needs. It is my ambition to give excellent care to the elderly and ill patients. I have learned many things working as a CNA, caregiver. One is really understanding the patients feelings and spending time with them when they need someone to just talk to. Patience goes a long way in any nursing field. I attended Weatherford College last fall. I am interested in the LVN nursing program. My goal is to attend college or trade school again and further my education to be a nurse. I truly love caring for people with all disabilities. It has been my greatest interest in life.
