I love being a caregiver. I have such a knack for it. The clients that I have had were so amazing and really took to me right off. I am very personable and have the wonderful gift of empathy. I am early retired from the RR due to being a two-time cancer survivor I was an accountant for many years. I really wanted a purpose and got into Care Giving and have realized I missed my calling :) I absolutely love when I make them smile and I especially love when I arrive you know they are happy to see me.

I keep Ms. Brooks company and keep her entertained. I also assist her in all her needs when her family leaves. Ms Brooks has stage 8 Alzheimers. She is a huge joy to care for but it only averages 3 to 4 times a month.

I took care of Lois for several years until her passing in January. It was one of the hardest things of my life was losing her. We became Best Friends. How can you not when you spend so much time with someone caring for their every need. I miss her terribly and always will. She taught me so much well like she always said we taught each other. I assisted her to all her medical appts...stayed with her during her hospital stays...Medi cation Management...Bathing and Dressing....Shopping and Errands...Clean and Do Laundry...Just about everything ... more
