I love providing caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. what I love being a caregiver is meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. I have been working at assisting and memory care facilities over 3 years . Now I'm looking home care because I wanted to see home care facilities works and challenge myself in self working environment area.

I have done care giving not only for my late husband but for other for about 5 years. I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and kids! I am a figure skater since age 7 and also love music and art. I have my degree in Accounting, and my MBA in Finance and Accounting. Looking for a Career change. I love the outdoors and animals. Some of the best caregiver traits i have are I am patient, compassionate and hard working. I am willing to take the time out to help with different jobs so they are done well and show compassion to those who are needing extra care from me. I believe it is okay to ask for help when it is needed so my willingness to help comes from a place of experiences and someone who is always going the extra mile to lend a helping hand. I am attracted to becoming a caregiver because I have always helped people. It is part of me with having a mother that suffered a brain aneurysm and lost her short-term memory and a mother-in-law that requires extra help in her everyday living. They both want to be independent as much as possible but with my help and guidance I can encourage them to ask for help and assist when needed. Knowing I can take some of the burden of their shoulders and make it easier for them is all I strive to do. I enjoy spending time with others and making connections with new people as well. I've always been proud that I can listen and understand what people are going through and can help with has to be done in the situation.

For my entire life, helping others has always been the greatest source of my own satisfaction. I would describe myself as a deeply emotional, empathetic, and compassionate individual who loves to connect with people of every kind. I find every individual I meet fascinating and love keeping others company. When I first started volunteering at nursing homes as a teenager, I discovered early on that keeping the residents company through good conversations or fun activities was something I would excel at. The stories and wisdom the residents shared with me still carry with me to this day, and I will always enjoy learning more about people. My whole life I have known I wanted to work with others in a service or caregiving capacity because I care deeply about people, even people I have never truly met. My hope is to continue sharing this love of life with anyone and everyone I can through caregiving in the future.

I was brought up by my grandmother, she was then younger when I used to stay with her and now that she is old, I got a chance to love on her I know what it means to be grand like her, so many vulnerabilities, she needs the care that she used to give me so I used to give it to her as much as she did to me more so preparing her her best meal , she also loved conversing so I would seat and listen to her and laugh together.
