We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced female caregiver to assist with temporary, in-home care for our 89-year-old mother at her residence on Lake Seminole in Donalsonville, Georgia. This position is expected to last until her Medicaid eligibility is approved and long-term arrangements are secured. Background: Mrs. Heard is facing several health challenges, including limited mobility and frequent falls. She is currently undergoing cardiac evaluation and wearing a heart monitor to determine whether a pacemaker is needed. These medical issues, along with advanced age, have understandably led to periods of depression, sadness, and frustration. She can be emotionally withdrawn or irritable at times, so we are looking for someone with not only skill but also genuine patience, kindness, and emotional maturity. Because of her lifelong values and personal modesty, we are seeking a female caregiver only to assist with personal and private care tasks. Caregiver Responsibilities Will Include: • Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting • Providing companionship and emotional support • Supporting safe mobility throughout the home to help prevent falls • Light meal preparation • Light housekeeping and laundry • Observing and reporting any changes in health, mood, or behavior to the family Pet Care Note: Mrs. Heard lives with a small, elderly toy poodle who requires insulin injections twice daily (at approximately 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.). While the primary caregiver responsibilities do not include pet care, assistance may occasionally be requested if you are present during feeding times. Schedule & Duration: • Approximately 4 hours per day, 4-5 days per week • Days and times may vary based on family schedules or appointments • The caregiver may be alone with Mrs. Heard during these times • This is a temporary, short-term role, expected to continue until Medicaid eligibility is finalized (estimated 1–2 months)
