Looking for a Caring, Fun, and Dependable Caregiver in Apache Junction! We are looking for a special person to help care for our mother, who is living with Alzheimer disease, and to lend a helping hand to her wonderful husband. Our dad is very independent and has been doing an amazing job caring for his wife. But as her condition progresses, we know he could use some extra support, a little breathing room, and someone he can count on. We would love to find someone who is not only experienced with dementia care but also has a warm personality, a great sense of humor, and genuinely enjoys spending time with seniors. Someone who can bring a little laughter, kindness, and positivity into their home! The job includes helping Mom with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, preparing meals, and daily activities. Some light housekeeping, companionship, and occasional help for Dad would also be appreciated. We are looking for someone who can work approximately 28 to 40 hours per week to start. As her needs change, we anticipate increasing the hours. Ideally, we would love to find someone interested in staying with our family long-term. We prefer an independent caregiver rather than an agency. More than anything, we want someone who will treat our parents like family. Someone patient, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable with the ups and downs that come with dementia. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
