Need a compassionate and honest caregiver located near Gold Canyon, AZ to help care for Mother. We have a need for an almost live-in that would be fairly independent; able to come and go in between care and also sleep at home 3 nights per week. The candidate will stay in an apartment that is inside the large home. There is wifi. Throughout the day you can go back and forth from the apartment to the room where my mother stays most of the time. She is very elderly and feeble. Her husband is elderly and hearing impaired. He has a cochlear implant but one still has to annunciate and speak directly at him. He takes care of himself. There is a small dog that loves people and you can walk her on a leash for some outdoor time if you like. Mr. takes her outside otherwise. You can run your own errands and take care of your personal business as long as you aren't gone for an entire day. You can schedule a day off when needed. Ideally care would start November 21, 2020 and ramp up to almost live-in status as soon as possible. The activities of daily living performed by the caregiver will include medication reminders, 1-2 light meals, tidying up, transportation, transferring & mobility, toileting, grooming, and bathing.
