CareLinx and UnitedHealthcare (UHC) are partnering to provide thousands of UHC members with in-home care benefits and are looking for a caregiver near Atascadero, CA. Care is needed for mornings or afternoons; day of the week to TBD and caregiver should be able to start ASAP. This job is approximately 4 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in relaying information back to UHC through the use of digital care plans. The primary duties of this caregiver will include: Light Housekeeping (sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, wipe down surfaces and tidy up as needed); Toileting (getting client to/from the toilet via wheelchair); Transferring and Mobility (in out of wheelchair, to/from bed to chair); Companionship (talk, read, serve, assist client with meals, encourage nutrition) transportation , transportation (pt appts, grocery, run errands, all local)bathing (h/ 5'6 w/130lbs getting into shower/out has bench) grooming ( assistance with getting dressed), meal prep (simple meals, medication reminders.
