We are seeking 1 to 2 compassionate, highly reliable, and professional caregivers to provide continuous daytime/overnight coverage for a female resident currently on hospice care at home in Landers. The primary family member will be undergoing surgery on November 12 and recovering at a nearby location for approximately 1 month. While the resident receives regular medical visits from a hospice nursing team, she cannot be left alone. We are looking to build a small, coordinated team to split shifts and ensure total peace of mind during this critical recovery window. The Environment: • A peaceful, nice, and clean home in Landers. • Dedicated private bedroom and private bathroom provided for the caregiver(s) while on shift. Key Responsibilities: • Continuous Presence: Ensure the resident is never left unattended for more than 60 minutes. • Companionship & Comfort: Provide a calming, respectful presence, gentle conversation, and emotional support. • Basic Daily Assistance: Help with light meals. Wick system for bedbound. •Coordinating with the visiting hospice clinical team when they arrive. • Safety Monitoring: Maintain a safe environment and immediately alert the hospice team of any changes. • Prior experience with senior care, elder companion care, or supportive hospice environments. • Absolute reliability, punctuality, and clear communication skills (essential for shift handoffs). • Reliable transportation Schedule & Compensation: • Duration: A fixed 1-month commitment starting on or slightly before November 12, 2026. • Shifts: Flexible. Seeking coverage for a mix of 12-hour daytime blocks, overnight shifts, or live-in rotations. • Pay Rate: At or above standard market rate ($22–$28+/hr, depending on experience and shift type). Highly competitive pay is negotiable for the right person.
