About who needs care: 79-year-old woman. Recently had two strokes in the last 4 months. Currently has home health (RN, PT, OT, ST) coming to the home. Uses hoyer lift to transfer from bed to wheelchair. About the care needs: Looking for someone who has experience with individuals that are bed bound and need help with all their ADLS (activities of daily living). Someone who is familiar with administering medication and nutrition through a G-tube. Able to use a manual hoyer lift. Someone who able to work with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy and can help reinforce lessons and help her re-learn. Kind, caring , detail oriented and patient are a must. Services needed include: administer medication via G-tube, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, mobility assistance. Need daytime care between the hours of 5am-7pm. May also need overnight care.
