Seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver for my 81 y. o. mother who enjoys remaining active & independent. Responsibilities include giving medications, meal planning & cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, patio upkeep, running errands, driving to appointments, & companionship. Duties also include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, & other activities of daily living (ADLs), encouraging daily walks/exercise and outings, helping coordinate appointments, caring for & feeding a pet bird (including cage cleaning), & assisting w/ occasional household organization and special projects. The ideal candidate is patient, engaging, reliable, a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, has a valid driver's license & reliable transportation, & preferably has caregiving experience and CPR/First Aid certification.
