One-time medical escort to and from outpatient surgery appt next week

My dad has no health issues and is 65 years old. He lives in San Diego and is having outpatient surgery in San Diego. He drives, but the hospital won't let him drive himself home or take a taxi, they are requiring someone be with him. I'm looking for someone who can pick him up, stay during the procedure, and drop him off back home. Maybe it'd be 4 - 6 hrs. He is not a wheelchair user. He has no health concerns. It is surgery on his arm, so he may be in a sling after, but that's about it. This would just be a one-time need, not an ongoing thing. Thank you.
