Looking to hire a patient caregiver to take care of my 19-year-old quadriplegic son, located in Sacramento, CA. Support is needed 5 days from February 16 to 20, split shift. Morning shift is from 8am - 11am and evening shift is from 8pm - 10/11pm. Caregiver should be able to start February 16, 2022 and is expected to work 25-30 hours. The activities of daily living performed by the caregiver will include assisting him in motion exercises, transferring and mobility, toileting, dressing/grooming, preparing easy meals (quesadillas, sandwiches, chicken tenders, etc), and some light housekeeping (wipe touch spots, sweep, vacuum, change sheets, dishes.) Being a Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) is a definite plus. Apply now and be one of the first to be considered for this great opportunity! Job Qualifications: - Ability to lift 50lbs - Flexible schedule - Comfortable with (2 small) dogs - Punctual and reliable - Comfortable with body fluids: foley bag and/or emptying a catheter - Comfortable with bowel care transfer to chair and wiping - Fully vaccinated and hygiene conscious: washes hands, social distances while in public - Ability to possibly drive a wheelchair accessibility van - Enjoys sarcastic sense of humor helps
