Caregiver Needed – Glendale, CA We are looking for a dedicated caregiver in the Glendale, CA area to assist with caring for our grandmother. Our grandmother is Deaf/hearing impaired, so the caregiver must either be Deaf or know American Sign Language (ASL) in order to communicate with her. Schedule: 2–3 days per week for approximately 3–5 hours per visit. The days will typically be during daytime hours. About Our Grandmother: She uses a walker and wheelchair for mobility and will need some assistance with showering/bathing. She is able to communicate her needs and is not bedridden, but she moves slower and benefits from some support. Responsibilities may include: Assisting with showering/bathing Light meal preparation Light housekeeping (helping clean her room area, washing dishes) Providing companionship and general supervision while family runs errands or attends doctor appointments My father is her primary caregiver, but during times when he has appointments or needs to run errands, we would like someone to come in and assist her. These visits would also be a good opportunity to help her with showering and other small tasks around the home. We are looking for someone patient, kind, and dependable.
