CareLinx has partnered with Evidation Health, a healthcare technology company that helps individuals and healthcare companies understand and influence everyday behaviors that create better health outcomes. Evidation is looking to hire a contractor to work as a Clinical Research Coordinator to help them with a clinical study in the Oakland area. The study is 6 months with a possible extension and is looking at how older adults interact with and use wearable technology (in this case, the Apple Watch and iPhone). The position will be 30-40 hours a week for the first 8 weeks, then part-time (20-30 hours per week) for the remaining 10 months. Generally the hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. This position will begin April 1, 2019. Responsibilities: ●The CRC will assist in recruitment, setup, and technical troubleshooting for our study participants. ●CRCs will be asked to take basic vitals (BP and HR using an automated machine) and guide participants through basic mobility tests. Requirements: ●Background Check ● Five panel drug test ● Ability to drive with access to a working car in order to staff the senior community assigned ● Must be tech savvy- Must be comfortable using “MacBook” laptop, Apple iphone and ipad, and able to work in google docs (study training will be provided, but CRC should be comfortable using web portals, using google docs, downloading apps, etc). Should also be able to troubleshoot minor tech issues, such as Wi-Fi / Bluetooth connection, etc ● Able to read and understand the English language, basic arithmetic skills ● Enjoys working with adults 65+ ● Reliable and communicative Qualifications: ●CNA license active and in good standing ● Experience with Apple Watch ● Healthcare experience or Genius Bar/basic tech support experience ● Experience teaching/instructing older adults on how to use technology (can be formal experience or with family/friends)
