We are seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to assist an elderly mother with daily living needs in her home. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and experienced with personal care and mobility support. Live-in could be an option. Schedule: Preferred hours are 7:30 AM–1:30 PM, with the possibility of extending to 7:30 AM–4:30 PM depending on care needs and authorization changes. Current approved hours are approximately 21 hours per week, but this may increase up to 40 hours per week pending reassessment. Start Date: As soon as possible (upon caregiver match and approval process) Primary Responsibilities: • Assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming • Toileting and incontinence care as needed • Mobility assistance and safe transfers (fall risk present) • Light physical therapy exercises as directed by PT • Medication reminders • Blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring as instructed • Meal preparation and assistance with hydration • Light housekeeping and laundry related to client care • Meal cleanup • Companionship and emotional support Additional Notes: • Spanish-speaking caregiver preferred • Female caregiver preferred • No pets in the home • Non-smoking household • Client lives with disabled spouse • Family may provide occasional support with meals and light tasks Ideal Candidate: Experienced in elderly care, especially mobility assistance and chronic condition support. Reliable, respectful, and comfortable working in a family-involved home environment.
