Cheerful, kind, retired Professor/Family Nurse Practitioner with limited mobility due to Multiple Sclerosis. She is 86 and predominantly bed-bound, but ideally, we'd like to use the hoyer lift to get her into her wheelchair, or out of bed, once a day. Because she spends a lot of time watching movies and TV, we are looking for a self-starter who can have interesting conversation, think of creative ways to engage her, and has a spirit of going above and beyond. The person MUST be experienced with expertly changing someone who is bed bound. She has a palliative care service that already does bed baths, organizes her medication, provides supplies and checks her health every week. We are hoping to assemble the perfect support team and are happy to hear from those who are available, especially for a longer-term opportunity. We will be hiring TWO caregivers, so please list which days you are available to work from 8am to 8pm.
