My dad had open heart surgery last week and has 6 weeks of recovery ahead of him. I'm hoping someone can come for a few hours a day to prep his meds and meals for when I can't be there.(I live four houses down, and am there everyday, but I also have two special needs kids, so I can't be there as much as I'd like.) If the person works well in the home, we would like to keep them to continue to help with my moms meds and light house keeping and meal prep. We are open to time of day and days of the week, as well as how many hours. We are open to starting and seeing how it goes. if it works well for both parties, we are open to extending the hours. The main need keeping track of meds and meal prep. Any cleaning would be very appreciated. If it works out and every is comfortable I would be open to giving more of my responsibilities over to the care taker if they are open to it, like driving to appointments and cleaning.
