We are looking for a live-in caregiver for my Ukrainian in-laws in San Jose. Ukrainian and/or Russian speaking - or at least able to understand it when spoken is required. My father in-law is available to care for her mostly but needs someone to provide breaks for him to rest or engage in other activities. Most of the time it's just watching out for my mother-in-law, and a bit of socializing. Light housework cleaning, meal-prep (healthy, mostly plant-based), and laundry are needed. The two difficult tasks are helping my mother-in-law bath (once a week) and providing her with a suppository/enema if she has trouble using the restroom (mostly avoidable if her diet is good and she gets her medication). Most days it's only about 4-5 hours of work, and of course some days you'd want to yourself (we're reasonable, just let us know what you need). You would have a private room, rent free, in a nice single-family home in a good neighborhood within walking distance of shopping, and easy access to freeways. All utilities would be paid by us, as would all shared grocery costs, and we would pay $2000 a month.
