I am seeking a enthusiastic, dependable, and punctual caregiver located near Newbury Park, CA 91320. I need a caregiver who can work Sundays, 8 AM to 5:30 PM. Start date: ASAP $25/hr My mother is 92 years old and recently recovered from pneumonia. She is also recovering from knee-replacement surgery in late December and is still getting PT for it. She is using a walker with supervision. She has mild dementia with some short-term memory issues. She still has most of her mental and communication abilities. She needs thickened thin fluids for swallowing issue. She has trouble chewing food because she is missing teeth. She needs solid food that is soft or cut up in very small pieces, or pureed food.
