My Aunt has stage 4 colon cancer and needs assistance due to lack of energy and mobility issues. She will be starting chemo in pill form next week and needs care in the mornings to ensure she has eaten, is clean and has taken her meds. Her appetite is low and she needs a patient and kind caregiver to coax her into good habits. Services needed may include: toileting, bathing, light cleaning, companionship, meal prep, light laundry, possible transport to Kaiser to get pre chemo labs. The period of time care is needed is from 1 to 2 months while we await her IHSS approval.
