Seeking A Dependable Caregiver in Atlanta, GA for Father

Job Description

I am seeking a responsible and compassionate caregiver located near Atlanta, GA to help care for elderly father with advanced dementia and elderly dog during overnight hours. Caregiver(s) can work from as few as 4hrs/week, up to 40hrs/week on an agreed upon schedule. We are looking for assistance every night of the week for overnight hours but we may split it up across multiple caregivers. The main purpose for the caregiver will be to make sure my father stays clean and dry throughout the night. The activities of overnight assistance performed by the caregiver(s) for my father will include waking my father up and assisting him to the toilet, changing/cleaning bed linens as needed, bathing (if there are any toileting or bed wetting accidents), applying skin creams as needed, and keeping the area(s) used by my father during the night clean. My father can walk by himself slowly but due to dementia and seeing difficulties needs direction. The second main purpose for the caregiver(s) is to lead and assist our dog to the ramp outside to use the bathroom and back inside without falling. He can walk himself slowly as well. Our senior dog is a very sweet collie mix we rescued 12 years ago. He has recently developed arthritis and a neurological problem that makes it difficult for him to get up and down and walk. Medications we are trying are causing frequent urination. He will need a dog lover to gently assist him outside to the bathroom during the night if/when necessary (no steps -we have a ramp). He is trained to not go in the house, but if any accidents occur during overnight hours, they will need to be cleaned up as well. We need a caregiver who is not scared of poop and pee, to be blunt, and someone who is going to take their job seriously and understands how important it is for this loving father and sweet dog to receive the best care possible.
