In search of a loyal caregiver to take care of our 83 year old father, located in Genoa, IL. Care is needed 2 days per week for at least a 10 hour shift each day. The days are inconsistent as you will be needed on days that the primary caregiver (an Elgin firefighter) is working. Our Dad is at home for hospice care due to bladder cancer and he is bed-bound with a catheter. The caregiver is expected to help with, meal prep, light housekeeping, as-needed bathing, dressing & grooming, toileting, and transferring & mobility. Our Dad is a smoker, but applicants are free to be in a separate smoke-free room if he is smoking. All applicants will be considered.
