We are particularly interested in individuals with backgrounds in PT & OT as well as special education, nursing or ST. We are seeking dedicated & compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide long-term care for our 24-year-old son in Elmhurst. While he is a quadriplegic & non-verbal, he enjoys an active lifestyle that includes educational classes, adaptive sports, & gaming and is intellectually inclined. Responsibilities All aspects of personal care: ADLs, transfer & positioning & social activities Requirements Dedicated, reliable, engaging, & personable. Able to lift & maneuver 80lbs, multi-task, & have a technical aptitude Compensation There's a great learning potential & flexible schedule. Taxes are withheld through our payroll company.
