Hi there, I’m looking for a reliable, kind, and preferably experienced caregiver or companion to assist me on the day of a minor outpatient surgical procedure (a D&C with a myomectomy for fibroids). Here are the details: • Date: Wednesday 23rd July • Location: Prentice Women's Hospital • Time Commitment: 6-8 hrs initially, then check-ins for up 4 days Duties: - Drive or accompany me home after the procedure (sedation involved — you’ll need to sign me out) - Stay with me for several hours post-op (resting, monitoring, basic needs) - Light support — helping with food, hydration, meds, and spotting any concerning symptoms - Optionally check in person over the next four days No medical procedures required — just a responsible, attentive presence who can keep an eye on things while I recover from anesthesia and the procedure. Healthcare or caregiving experience is a plus but not required if you’re comfortable and dependable.
