We need someone to watch her overnight in Lincoln Village Healthcare Center because they always kick us out at the end of visiting hours. We might want to hire someone during the day too. The nursing home is understaffed. It’s a short stay until they get her ventilator, I hope. Your job is to keep her company, clean her up if they can’t, and try to get the care she needs from the staff. We will give you a number to call if staff does something they shouldn’t. She can only move her left arm. She is on a ventilator but can mouths words and write on a notebook. My mom is a very sweet person. We just want to try to protect her the best we can. This was the hospital’s decision, not ours. We didn’t want her in this place.
