Need an empathetic caregiver located near Hillsboro, IL to help care for myself starting on the morning of Nov 03, 2026—having an extensive dental procedure in Springfield (2 and 1/2 hrs with general sedation). Transportation will be scheduled for myself and a caregiver through CITS. The first 24-48 hrs will be critical. I need someone to ensure what I need is nearby from prescribed pain medication to smoothies and liquids to drink. Could be from 10 am to 6 or 7 pm the first day, maybe longer. The hours needed should decrease over time and healing. I need someone who can recognize if I am having difficulty and what is needed. I am 70 years old and use a cane most of the time for balance and support. (I have lumbar stenosis and neural claudication, A round of aquatic PT and a steroid shot have not helped.)
